Bars × The Bar

✦ Issue No. 04 — August 2026 | Global Engagement

Welcome back to Bars + Bureau — the insider newsletter for those who crave community beyond the music highlight reel.

Bars + Bureau is the space between the studio and the C-suite — where real hip-hop lives seamlessly with the legal world, and where the Bespoke317 community gets transparency into the thinking, the process, and the moves made behind the scenes.

If you're here, you're getting more familiar with Bespoke317. The music. The brand. The vision. But this is where you can start to see behind the curtain. Each issue is specially tailored; stitched with gratitude, love, and abundance. For those who want more than what's on the feed.

Let's get it 💯

The e-Motion

This month, we're renaming the section — because we're engaged, and the emotion is everything.

Every issue checks the pulse of where Bespoke317 is right now.

  • ✦   On August 6, 2026, I asked the love of my life to marry me on a perfect evening in Chicago. We were on a private boat charter, on the Chicago River, as the sun set and reflected off the glass skyscrapers — with our favorite song, Yukon by Justin Bieber, playing in the background. She said, "a million times, yes." From there, the captain took us to NAIA where I surprised her again with friends, family, and a photographer to capture the moment. It was magical — and the joy was palpable. A week later, I whisked her off to Paris to keep the love and celebration going in the city of love. We captured the trip with so many special moments and engagement pictures I can't wait to share. This is living La Vie En Rose in real life.
  • ✦   On the music side, we're still creating and moving with purpose. We're also celebrating the release of Quit Playin' — the new single that dropped July 31, 2026. The intention and lyrical layering carry the same quality Bespoke317 always brings, but the sound and attitude? This one has a new edginess. An "IDGAF" feel I've kept in the vault — until now. It was time. The song may not be about you, but it's definitely for you. Whether you tell yourself — or someone who's on that BS — let 'em know to quit playin.
  • ✦   On the legal side, energy, money markets, and geopolitical conflict continue to dominate headlines and shape the work ahead of us. These are challenging times. But challenges create opportunities and strength when embraced the right way. That's the posture and mindset we're carrying into the fall.

The Docket

In this section of the issue, subscribers get first access to what's next for Bespoke317 — upcoming releases, drops, appearances, projects, and exclusives before they hit the public domain.

If it's on "The Docket", it's already in motion.

  • ✦   There's more life — and more music. The plan is simple — a new single every 30 to 45 days, into perpetuity. We've had a ton of fun making this music and we want to see how the community responds to a variety of sounds. Expect range. Expect texture. But also expect the consistent creative intention and lyricism that Bespoke317 brings to every project. The vault is deep and we're just getting started.
  • ✦   We're also in preliminary conversations with various distribution channels and look forward to seeing what fruit those partnerships bear. More to come on that front — stay close.
  • ✦   On the travel front — the prediction for the rest of the year is two words: travel miles. Denver, LA, London, Berlin, Rome, and back to London again for a combination of music and environmental stewardship, impact, and sustainability conferences. Wherever we land, we're building. Music and law don't stop at borders.

Off the Record

This is an unfiltered conversation. Every issue shares a personal insight from the only perspective that sees both sides of the table — artist and attorney, studio and courtroom.

But don't quote me. It's off the record.

  • ✦   August has felt like a culmination. As both an observer and an active participant in the life I am manifesting — I can feel it all coming together. I can also see how far I've "traveled." The things and people I let go of to stay aligned with my purpose.
  • ✦   Starting a new chapter with my fiancée. Releasing new music. Connecting with longtime friends. Leading efforts at the firm. My gratitude is overwhelming. And with it comes a determination to keep building something amazing and impactful. That's the energy for the foreseeable future.
  • ✦   But culmination also brings transition. Energizing our team at work to galvanize around major trends. Planning our nuptials. Connecting with my new, larger family. Preparing to cover serious ground across multiple countries. It's a journey. And it feels both new and familiar at the same time.
  • ✦   That tension — between the excitement and the responsibility — is something I'm sitting with intentionally. It's not lost on me that everything I prayed for is arriving at once. I'm here for all of it. Let's get it.
